JOB DESCRIPTION

Secure a summer internship for summer 2026 now.

As a production leader, you will have direct contact with our clients in the prison's production. You will work with other staff to introduce and guide the clients and contribute to their learning. Your tasks will include maintaining the production facilities, machines, and storage, as well as some administrative work. You will also participate in the production work yourself. You will help ensure that safety is maintained in the prison and that safety regulations are followed.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is secure, stable, and self-aware. You find it easy to collaborate with others and have well-founded and clear values. In stressful situations, you remain calm, stable, and controlled. You have the ability to make correct assessments and priorities. You have a good understanding of how people acquire knowledge and adapt your way of conveying messages based on the recipient's conditions. You should also have a physical condition that allows you to act physically if the situation requires it.

To thrive and succeed in your role, it is important that you share the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's fundamental values of a humane view of humanity, respect for the individual, and belief in human development. You are also aware of and understand how background, culture, and group affiliation affect yourself and others. Furthermore, you are expected to contribute to ensuring that everyone is treated equally through your approach. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Completed upper secondary school qualifications in the form of a final grade or diploma, or other education combined with work experience that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service deems equivalent
• Work experience from the manufacturing industry or other relevant work experience
• The ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish
• Good computer skills

It is an advantage if you have:

• Work experience in a supervisory role
• Safety awareness regarding both work environment and client safety
• Knowledge of treatment work and understanding of the significance and role of the work in the execution of the inmates' sentences
• Motivational work
• Pedagogical experience
• Driver's license (B)
• Forklift license
